Our COVID-19 Policy


With winter essentially here, we wanted to update you on what we’re doing to keep you safe, warm and fed during the ongoing COVID crisis.

  • MERV 13 filters (recommended by the CDC and Ashrae to help prevent the spread of COVID) have been installed at all 5 locations.
  • Our patios will stay open ALL WINTER LONG this year. To keep you toasty, we made the following improvements:
    • All locations have upright heaters and we’ve added some mini space heaters as well.
    • Denver/Lodo: Half the patio is tented with heaters and we’re in the process of converting our Airstream into a 10 person private dining space.
    • Fort Collins: The patio is tented and heated and we’re adding an Airstream and Trolley out front for additional dining space.
    • Park Meadows: We have 2 garden Igloos for our patio on order that should arrive in the next few weeks.
    • And, when all else fails, we recommend long johns and TEQUILA to keep you warm!
  • Reservations are still STRONGLY ENCOURAGED, especially in Boulder. You can make one here.
  • The best way to place a takeout order is on our website – don’t miss the family packs of enchiladas, fajitas, rellenos, and – coming soon – build your own tacos, or our famous 6-pack survival kits of Big Tex and Classic Rio Margs.
  • We continue to adhere to the state and local restriction orders in terms of occupancy limits and serving times, as well as stick to strict cleaning and employee screening initiatives to ensure everyone stays healthy. Related, we’ve augmented our sick pay policy to help our employees if they’re unable to come to work.
